- The plaintiff claimed that on 16 Dec 1767 George Blaine secured a debt to George Kippin & Co with 202 acres of land in Amherst Co and that the debt was not paid so they appealed to the court to allow the land to be sold and the debt paid
- On 18 Mar 1800 George Blaine claimed that he had paid the debt to an agent of George Pippin & Co.
- As of Jul 1822 George Blaine is deceased and his wife Rachel Blaine claimed the debt was fully paid off before his death.
- The court reffered the matter to Charles Perrow to investigate and his report said there was no evidence that the debt had been paid.
- Case removed from docket and transferred to Lynchburg Circuit Court in 1830
