John Campbell of Amherst County left a will giving his plantation and house to wife Frances and 1/10 part of his remaining estate to the children of his deceased son Jessee Campbell. Upon the death or remarriage of his wife 1/10th portion of her share would also be distributed to the childeen of son Jessee (the other 9/10ths went to his other children). The inheritence consists of 160 acres of land and slaves.
Frances died and the children of Jessee Campbell want to sell the land and slaves, and divide the proceeds.
